I saw "Bra Boys" the other night and was reminded how much I liked "Point Break". This youtube montage is pretty good. Not enough surfing for my taste, but the song makes up for it.

The best sports scene in a movie, in my whatever opinion, is in Friday Night Lights where Odessa, team, Permian walks onto the Astrodome for the championship, as does Dallas High School, team, Carter.
The music and editing are awesome, but the whole movie needs to be watched to really appreciate it.
Ahhhhh....it is awesome!!!
Other good sports scenes in movies: the almost last scene in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun where Sarah Jessica Parker kills. And also the almost last scene in White Nights.
(Those are good too. Give me a break. I used to be a gymnast.)
It's been a while. What is this "create" thing? I'll find out via this barely scientific test.

Thailand. And, no.
That 'communications team' post is really, um, vitriolic.
As a weak-hearted attempt to move ahead: here's a song I've truly loved for a long time, but didn't post because it's so negative, but it's Halloween, so give 'er!
Yeah, I deleted that "am I too pretty to be with someone ugly?" post. But not from my mind...shiver...
Funniest youtube thing-y I seen in a while:
My latest (novel) obsession: "The Exception" by Christian Jungersen. Slmplknasaaa....it is AWESOME!
Get this book!
PS: I'm not done yet, I hope it doesn't go all St.John* on me and veer crazily offcourse towards the end...

Led Zeppelin will finally offer their music online starting next month. Of the music you buy, about how much of it do you download and how much do you buy on physical formats (CDs, vinyl, etc.)?
70% download...cough...SHARE. 27% itunes. 3% physical formats. I just bought the new Kanye West. For certain artists, I like being restricted to the whole CD, as opposed to a jerky, random, jumbling of songs. In the next, oh, two weeks, it will be All Kanye All the Time...uh uh uh...Barry Bonds!
